This is an image of the historical garment I chose from Te Papa's collection which I began to contemporise in terms of Technology.

This is an image of the lace details on the Wedding dress pictured above. I chose to look at the lace in terms of the technology and decided to lasercut my own lace. However, as I do not particularly like lace, I decided to cut out the letters "notlace" as a humourous alternative.

This is a photo of the final as well as others below. 
After shooting the photoshoot of my outfit, we were required to create a postcard with both the historical and contemporary garments on it. We then gave this postcard back to Te Papa as a thank you for letting us use their collections as inspiration.
